No, I think you win because voters individually
assess what they hear you say, whether you believe
it (in their judgment), whether they view you as
likable and trustworthy, and whether you convince
enough of them to win the Electoral College.
Nothin’ more. Nothin’ less.
And hopefully, those things are based on merit. :)
