who do you think Rush will support at this point
I'm possibly being overly cautious. Rush has seemed to purposely stay clear of the Republican candidates thus far. I'd be pretty let down if he were to support a top-tier candidate other than Fred. I'd be the first to "high five" you if you turn out to be right.

I think that the long term Rush listeners always knew who he supported, and we also knew that we would have to read between the lines to verify that (in these early days of the primary). Giuliani was never in the running, and Rush doesn’t like McCain.
With today’s show, I think that Rush has strongly laid out what he thinks of the candidates, Romney disgusts him and he likes Fred.

If Rush comes out and supports someone in the primaries...I guarantee you it will be Fred.

Rush wasn't crazy about him and said something to the effect that GWB was an upstart, a silver spooner..things like that. One day GWB apparently called Rush and said he wanted to meet Mother Limbaugh and from that day on, Rush supported GWB.
The whole episode tained my opinion of both men, yet I continue to listen to Rush and twice voted for GWB.
That being said, I too would be disappointed if Rush got behind a candidate other than Fred.
