Fred Thompson on Harry Reid’s attacks on Rush Limbaugh
Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

Rush is one of the biggest financial supporters of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. www.mc-lef.org They are a 5 star charity organization. No Administrative costs....all Volunteer (I'm one) They give money/bonds to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty in Military and in Law Enforcement (FBI,SS,CIA etc...)

If Rush throws his weight behind FRed (which he should do anyone, due to the completely insipid and uninspiring candidated FDT is competing against) because of his support today, the RINO contingent will be put back in its place, hopefully once and for all. Rudy, McCain, Willard and the rest of the hacks will be but a distant memory come this spring

No. What I am saying is, had it been a sincere gesture, Fred, or anybody else, would have jumped in from the start and not waited to see in what direction the wind was blowing.
Lesley Graham did the same thing because in his case he knows he is in big political trouble.
