I will not vote for rootie... he will not be our nominee. My remark was only that Hunter would never turn his back on his party. He is far too smart and too much of a Patriot to do anything to harm America. I though it might need to be clarified.

-—Will it go back to it’s roots (which is what brought me here in the first place years ago) as an anti - Clinton forum, or will it let it’s political influence fade as it becomes just another anti - Rudy site? Something to think about.”-—

First off, the Daily Kos is anti-Clinton. Perhaps you accidentally stumbled on FR instead of a more fitting anti-Clinton yet more Liberal blog?

Second, ah yes......warning list talking point #2 from the Liberal GOP: “If you don’t support our liberal, you run the risk of marginalizing your influence!”

Thanks, but I’ll take that risk. ;-)

I’d give my last once of blood to stop Rudy from taking the White House as a “Republican.” I will spare no effort to save this party from Liberal takeover, none.

If you deem my comments rude, it's because I do not now, nor will ever, take kindly to threats from Rudophiles, even veiled ones. Terrorism is your whole campaign, and even defines your tactics when dealing with reluctant Conservatives. I will not give in to either the terrorism of the Islamofascists which seeks to have me submit in fear, or the terrorism of the Rudy Giuliani campaign which seeks to have me submit in fear.

As much as I despise Rudy I absolutely loath the Clintons. eight years is enough for me. In this case we should just work on rebuilding the party. Even if Rudy does win, he can’t do as much damage as Hitlery would do to our country if she takes over.

He can do much more damage, actually. Not even Hitlery can assure that every future election is a choice between two Liberal parties, but Rudy can - and he will.

Tell me, given the choice - Conservatism effectively dead and no Clinton, or Clinton for four years and effective Conservatism? I’ll take the latter.

No, actually you could not be more wrong.

Hillary’s damage would be much more short-term than Rudy’s.

If Rudy is nominated, watch the conservatives, the Republican Party base, walk away from the Republican Party for many generations.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg THREE MORE TIMES

OR

Antonin Scalia or Samuel Alito or John Roberts.

I think the OR would more likely be Michael Mukasey times 3.

Currently, I'm supporting Fred Thompson, but plan on voting for the eventual Republican nominee...just like I did in 2000 after supporting Alan Keyes. It is my responsibility not to sit on my hands &, in effect, elect Hillary to preside over a Dhimmi House majority & a possible filibuster-proof Senate...

Very different scenario. Bush wasn’t likely to turn the GOP into a haven for Liberals and liberal policies, Rudy911 is. Bush had never given any threats to rewrite the GOP platform, Rudy911 has repeatedly done so.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is the usual pragmatism in elections, but there comes a point where it is no longer pragmatic because of the harm a candidate can do to the party. Rudy is well beyond that threshold. I consider it a dereliction of duty for a Conservative to in any way aid and abet his attempted coup.

If that means the Dems again own all three Houses for a short time while we rebuild the GOP, then so be it. Better to lose just the election than both the election and the party.

That’s the rule for primary’s after that it is a different game, no matter how distasteful Rudy, and the rest may be. Trust me they aren’t my cup of tea, but Hitlery or Hussein Obama with a RAT congress will hurt America that will take decades to overcome. Just ask Rush Limbagh, Bill O’Reilly, Michael Medved and the rest of the recipients of Hitlery & Co. organized smear tactics how dangerous a RAT president would be.

I can hear the music at the inauguration celebration if one of the RAT’s win...the Beatles “Back in the U.S.S.R.”

If that means the Dems again own all three Houses for a short time

Lots can happen in a "short time".

Meanwhile, the Social Democrats initially planned to hinder the passage of the Act by boycotting the Reichstag session, rendering that body short of the quorum (two thirds) needed to vote on a constitutional amendment. The Reichstag, however, led by its President, Hermann Göring, changed its rules of procedure, allowing the President to declare that any deputy who was "absent without excuse" was to be considered as present, in order to overcome obstructions.
