Should I vote for the “good ol’ boy” Republicans around here that are actually just Republicans so they can get votes? Of course not! Regardless of what few gains I may make, the losses are worse, one of them being that I have to look at myself in the mirror and say, “You helped make it this way” when those “conservatives” support liberal or authoritarian legislation.

On the contrary: The third-party voter in '92 is responsible for enabling the election of a man who

1) sold U.S. military secrets to China for campaign contributions;

2) sent American soldiers to fight in a NATO campaign on the side of Albanian Muslim extremists;

3) lied under oath in a sexual harassment lawsuit;

4) attempted to bring homosexuals openly into the U.S. Armed Forces;

5) allowed Osama Bin Laden to get away when he was in the sights of a sniper;

6) raided a family's home in Florida to send a child back to Cuba, securing a victory for Castro;

7) is responsible for ATF actions that burned women and children to death in Waco;

8) raped Juanita Broderick;

9) groped Katherine Willey in the White House;

10) came into the the possession of FBI files of his political enemies;

11) whose wife took bribes camouflaged as futures trades;

12) whose wife ordered the shredding of Vince Foster's documents at the Rose Law Firm;

13) whose wife ordered members of the Health Care Task Force to shred documents that were the target of a court probe;

14) whose wife ordered the removal of documents from Vince Foster's office and then told her aides to lie about it;

15) whose wife obstructed justice by keeping her billing records, a document sought under subpoena, in the White House residence;

16) directed Arkansas State Police to fabricate incriminating evidence Terry Reed, a political opponent;

17) conspired with David Hale and Jim McDougal to defraud the Small Business Administration;

18) conspired in an attempt to suborn perjury from Linda Tripp;

19) was complicit in Travelgate, Filegate, Whitewater and a host of other malfeasances.

And if you vote third party this time, you'll know exactly what you're potentially abetting. A non-Republican vote this time is a vote for Hillary Clinton.

Of course, you'll still be able to stick your head under a rock and say "I didn't help make it this way." It's the easiest, most irresponsible exercise of the right to vote imaginable.

Actually, it's a much higher road than the "root fer our team so they can't win!!!!! YEEEHHHAAWWW!!!" line of thought. The "easiest, most irresponsible exercise of the right to vote" is to vote for Repblicans because they are republicans. It's mindless, and it panders to all sorts of ridiculous lines of thought - fear mongering being the chief among those.

And a vote for a non-Republican is a vote for a non-Republican. Your line of thinking is completely inaccurate. It's like saying "if you don't support the idea of a wartime draft, you're for defeat."
