I've voted for a few candidates that have lost at state and national levels, and let me tell you - it's better to lose on principle than win on compromise. Every time.

That's your opinion.

It isn't mine, and I've voted a lot myself.

Fred Thompson's my choice and I'd much rather win with John McCain than lose to Hillary Clinton by voting third party.

The Liberturds are coming out from under their rocks
since people are wise to L Ron Paul and his anti war, anti Israel views, the Liberturds are trying to divide Republicans so any of the anti war candidates will win.

If you vote your conscience, you haven’t lost. It’s that simple. My party wins very rarely, and then only locally, but they reflect my beliefs. Should I vote for the “good ol’ boy” Republicans around here that are actually just Republicans so they can get votes? Of course not! Regardless of what few gains I may make, the losses are worse, one of them being that I have to look at myself in the mirror and say, “You helped make it this way” when those “conservatives” support liberal or authoritarian legislation. A vote for a third party is not wasted, it is what you believe.

Compromise can save a few lives and leave a few more dollars in my wallet. Principle does not if that principle results in your guy losing and the Dem winning.
