The "easiest, most irresponsible exercise of the right to vote" is to vote for Repblicans because they are republicans."

That's not what I'm advocating. I'm advocating voting for Republicans because they aren't Democrats, and they are the only members of any party that can defeat Democrats.

Democrats are advocating the defeat of America in Iraq. They are advocating socialized medicine. They are advocating the abolition of the Electoral College. They are advocating higher taxes and entitlement spending. They are advocating partial-birth abortion and when a vote came before the Senate to restrict it, Hillary voted "nay."

No Republican is advocating any of the aforementioned positions...not even Giuliani.

It's mindless, and it panders to all sorts of ridiculous lines of thought - fear mongering being the chief among those.

The charge of "fear mongering" is a red herring. Pointing out the truth about Democrats isn't "fear mongering." It's merely pointing out the truth about Democrats and the probable consequences of not voting Republican. These truths are based on historical fact and in the upcoming election these facts are not only based on the behavior and stated intentions of Democrats...they are based on observations of a singular family...the Clintons.

And a vote for a non-Republican is a vote for a non-Republican. Your line of thinking is completely inaccurate. It's like saying "if you don't support the idea of a wartime draft, you're for defeat."

No it isn't. It's like saying "if you don't support the idea of a wartime draft, you're allowing and/or enabling potential defeat"...and there are times when such a statement is true.

The Republican nominee will in all probability be Fred Thompson. If you can't vote for him in spite of the Democrats' enabling of defeat, fiscal irresponsibility, a plan to grow entitlement spending by over 15% and altering the Constitution to reflect a "one-man, one-vote" styled Democracy, you aren't a conservative anyway.

Having to choose between JulieAnnie and Hillery is like choosing between Mussolini and Hitler.

Spoken like a true idiot.

“..having said that, I will not vote for rootie. He will not be our nominee.”

LLS

From your lips to God’s ears. I hope you are right. My first choice is Hunter, but I’d vote for Thompson or Romney if they get it - but Rootie - NEVER.

That’s rather a rude comment, but coming from a Rudy Rooter, not surprising.

I notice you are from Georgia. How long since you emigrated from New Yawk City to the Atlanta area? I understand they have a lot of carpetbaggers thereabouts lately. Maybe some of them are transplanted Rudy Rooters.

Oh, I'll probably support him anyway, if he's the nominee. But the fact remains, if the Republican party nominates Guiliani, or McCain, or any number of other candidates that are not actually conservatives, I won't vote for the republican presidential nominee. And I certainly won't vote for anyone who shows any amount of authoritarian tendencies (see the Political Compass for the distinction from liberal/conservative).

And consequently, I would never support a draft, regardless of circumstance.

I know what you said. If you meant something other than what you said, please clarify.

1) He has a LONG history of supporting liberal Democrats against Republicans for higher office, e.g. Jim Florio in New Jersey and Mario Cuomo in New York

Same here. You can't truly be a conservative and compromise by voting for liberals and RINOs.

2) He has NO foreign policy experience - NADA

Neither did Reagan, if I remeber correctly, so this really doesn't phase me that much.

3) He is pro-abortion

I don't like this either.

4) He ran a sanctuary city for illegal invaders while Mayor of New York and refused to cooperate in enforcement of Federal Laws against illegal invaders

Disgusting and despicable.

5) He can;t read the Constitution - the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment in particular - a peculiar lapse for an Attorney and ex-U.S. Prosecutor

RINO, RINO, RINO.

6) He’s pro-gay

As long as he's not pushing it on the kids and keeps pur tax money from promoting "gay days" and such, I don't care.

7) He dressed up in drag in public and apparently found it quite amusing

Don't care.

8) He’s arrogant and conceited with a hardheaded

Don't care.

9) And most of all - he CAN’T WIN!!!! He will loose the South and the West, the Christian conservatives, the Second Amendment people, and the Catholic anti-abortion groups.

Don't care. if he had the right principles, I'd vote for him any day.

I disagree. It’s the libs who want tootyfruityRudy because he’s such an easy target for the personal politics of destruction that Hillary wants to get into. That, and because tootyrudy is a liberal himself so if their plan backfires, they still end up with a liberal.

why didn’t the headline just read, if they elect Guiliani.

Guiliani is the ONLY pro-abortion candidate in the line up.

ALL the other candidates have taken pro-life positions.

If this is their ONLY issue then they should be EXPLICIT so the remaining two can fight it out on the conservative issues.

We are STILL in the primary and we have these wiggle room articles.

These are not true conservatives or one or two issue voters. These ambiguous “third party types” are just moles.

If these were SERIOUS social conservatives they would be saying something about pushing the NON-Guiliani candidates because they are against abortion.

The fact they headline does not identify Guiliani as the only pro-abortion candidate speaks volumes.

These are frauds who are helping democrats, PERIOD. They are not fighting a primary, they are just fighting to gain personal attention and power.

Then why vote for Rudy?

“As long as he’s not pushing it on the kids and keeps pur tax money from promoting “gay days” and such, I don’t care. “

Tolerance of homosexuals as long as they keep their perversions to themselves is fine. However, this is NOT what the activist homosexual lobby wants. They want equivalence. They want to be free to push their agenda and lifestyle as an acceptable “alternative” life style on young men and women. JulieAnnie marched in Gay Pride Parades. THAT is enough to show me that he more in line philosphically with the drag queens of Greenwich Village, New Orleans and San Francisco, than with the core Judaeo-Christian values which made America great AND have been mainstays of the Republican Party since its inception.

JulieAnnie would make a GREAT Democrat candidate. Maybe he should go head to head with Hillery in the Democrat Primary where he belongs.

“a vote for the so - called status quo as you put it is a wasted vote .”

I couldn’t agree more! The Republican party isn’t entitled to my vote, they have to earn it. I am through with bull sh!t artists running and trying to convince me they are conservatives.

I guess we can agree to disagree. However he is not one who will raise taxes and he has come out steadfastly for strongly pursuing and WINNING the WOT. These are the 2 issues ( WOT & Economy) most paramount in the minds of the majority of voters.

Ok, fine. There will be no NEW 3rd Party candidate put forth by a group or groups seeking to divide one of the major political Parties in order to tilt the race one way or the other.

Ok?
