Show me were Mexico is covered by our First Amendment. Hint, it’s not!

It was not American political speech at issue; the business’s conduct with a foreign flag more likely falls under the auspices of hostile foreign invasion and conquest of US territory.

It had already been defiled, and might as well have been in the dirt. I hope he had it burned.

I thought the same thing as far as folding the flag,,hard to do by yourself..,,would have added a certain touch.

Would shake this fellas hand ,,several times.

He then cuts them both off and leaves the Mexican flag on the ground.

Too bad he didn't have some lighter fluid and some matches.
He could just say he's exercising "free speech" in burning that
Mexican flag.

And that if people can do it to the US flag, this is fair play.

Of course, he should send the owner the price of the Mexican flag...
and the Old Glory...in pesos.
Particularly, those "pesos" that appear here on FR with Dubya's
portrait.

I don’t care if it’s illegal or not. It was meant to be a poke in the eye and the vet understands that. 2 thumbs from me.

Well Done, Brother!”

God bless Jim Bronson!!

“My name is Jim Bronson, and I took this flag
down in honor of my country, with a knife of the United States Army!

Well, this is one heck of a way to revive the title:
“Then Came Bronson”

OK, the TV-series character was an existential-seeker-biker...
but “what are the odds” that the fictional TV character and this
real-lifepatriot are both “Jim Bronson”?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063955/

Somebody should alert Michael Parks (who played Jim Bronson)!

Freedom of speech is NOT a license to complete unfettered and irresponsible speech.

Just as you may not yell “Fire” in a crowded theater or call a black man the “N” word under the guise of “freedom of speech”, you cannot fly another nation’s flag over ours without expecting the same results.

Freedom to act requires responsibility. Unlimited freedom of speech requires unlimited responsiblity for your actions.

Moderators: Can we start a "Buy Jim Bronson a Drink" FReepathon next to the Q4 fundraising link?

And YES, I did contribute already!

That reporter was clearly a vicious, hateful racist.

How dare he address those proud Mexican barkeeps in English without having even a single translator present?

To be on television and not be able to understand his questions....how dreadfully embarrassing that must have been for them! No guests in our country deserve such treatment.

Reparations are clearly in order.

Yes, I am very pleased with this vet’s action. He did the right thing; and if I were the government or whoever looking to prosecute him; I would think long and hard before I did because they have broken the law and continue to do so by allowing illegals(not necessarily the owner of the establishment)with benefits to stay in this country and not build a fence which I believe Bush signed into law.

They have also allowed these illegals to harm American citizens which probably would not have happened if they were not here.

So, just try prosecuting this vet.
