Ford has a CEO that is not an auto insider and is making folks live by the matrix, and is turn around expert, and coming from aerospace failure is not an option for Mr. Mulally.
They bet the farm 30 Billion ,against all company assets to rebuild in the next few years.
GM has set a precedent for major labor/mgt changes. Mulally brings his top negotiator with him from Boeing, and hints we need even more.
A quiet revolution is occurring at the shop level, in terms of work rules, do you research, it has been talked about over @ the Detroit News.
