This reminds me of Bill Clinton’s run up to ‘92. If you remember, in the primaries, Bill Clinton came up with one dumb a$$ proposal after another, and the voters laughed at every single one. Finally, he hit upon universal health care, and that polled well.

Suddenly, Universal Health Care became his Theme of the Week. The week turned into a month, into a campaign and into an administration. Now we are still dealing with that stupid idea, 16 years later.

And all because Bill Clintons tracking poll took a little upward blip when he talked about universal health care, all those years ago.

Obama is doing the same thing today. He is coming up with his dumb a$$ idea of the week, throwing it up against the wall, and seeing what sticks.

I'd forgotten how Clinton was kinda stumbling around until that 60 Minutes interview. He found his focus when he was at last able to run on an issue he's in love with--himself.

Obama just seems so very clueless. The media hype about him is a real Where's the Beef? fad. There's just no there there.

Like Hillary’s plan to give every baby $5000. That’s a vote getter for the masses, and the stupidest thing I ever heard of.

Why not also give every 16 yr old 5g’s to buy a used car?
