I hate to admit it but the Hispanics were a welcome sight after dealing with our own home grown derelicts.
Get back to us on that when their jobs dry up...The loss of construction jobs and the increase in crime around the country isn't a coincidence.

(What does the global warming movement and the Fairtax movement have in common? Disinformation)

Around where I live the jobs have been drying up for a while now. Most of them left. The local grocery stores have cut back on the size of their Hispanic section, which didn’t exist before Katrina. Louisiana is not exactly a haven for illegals. We are next to Texas but we have a very low population of illegals. The pay scale here is low and we have NO sanctuary citys, not even NOLA. The law enforcement here (bubba and his buddies) don’t take kindly to law breaking illegals. Jefferson Parish, which borders NOLA and was the domain of the late great Harry Lee, is particularly hard on them. They even cracked down hard on their Taco trucks.
