I am unsure of the politics in this region. What sort of dictatorship is this stemming from? I can’t imagine monks being killed and in large numbers and without assistance to help from some group inside. What larger political body is this region tied to? Communists? I am a bit Burma naive.
Death and massacre of any true peaceful religion is heartwrenching to me.

MSM Rule #1: No video, No coverage.
Have any commercial satellites been imaging Burma this past week?

It’s particularly horrible for the Myanmar government to target people who are pacifists and will not fight back.

This is what Clinton did to those poor children in Waco.
This is what Hillary will do if she is elected president.

God will repay the tyrants. Pretty cold comfort to the families of the dead.

If true I hope this story gets documented and widely reported.
The media will not risk there lives, and therefore will not report it, and it's not sexy enough anyways. Similar to how the media doesn't like to venture too far outside of Baghdad and report on the progress we've made there.

The guys doing the killing are as Buddhist as their victims.
Like the Islamofascists, these Budeofascists are as fascist as the Nazis or the Democratic National Committee these days.

This is horrible. Absolutely horrible.
And no, don't expect anything from the UN. It's a worthless body of anti-American drones that couldn't talk it's way out of a wet paper bag. Besides, it has no standing army other than that of the US. And ours is a bit busy of late.

The government of Burma is a socialist, isolationist military junta - they’re all basically nominally Buddhist in background themselves though I suspect they’re not particularly observant.
There are many ethnic minorities in Burma around the edges of the country with a variety of religions (the Karen are Christian, etc.) all of which are oppressed by the Junta as well.

Has the UN threaten them with a letter yet? /groan

SE Asian dominoes.......all that is left is Thailand, which seems to have held off chinese style communism, but is being threatened with islam while otherwise surrounded with the former.
