Lovelle fits the mold of many FReepers. Her life belongs to her... and not the church, the state or the courts. It certainly doesn't belong to the zealots here who would have her suffer in great pain so that their agenda can be fulfilled. It's Lovelle call.

It seems to me that the agenda is coming from the pro-euthanasia crowd. I wont criticize Lovelle; but, will criticize the Oregonian and the smarmy dog who wrote the article.

Her life belongs to her...

Actually it belongs to God...He can take it when he wishes, and you are not to take it on your own accord.

It certainly doesn't belong to the zealots here who would have her suffer in great pain so that their agenda can be fulfilled.

We don't have an agenda. The euthanasia zealots would argue just what you do--her life is full of pain so end it by killing yourself. That is the culture of death.

It's Lovelle call.

Actually no, it's God's call.

I agree completely with you, and disagree with all the sanctimonious BS from most of the other posters. This lady made the decision that was right for her, and I understand completely why she made it. It isn’t the right decision for everyone, but she was entitled to control her fate, to the extent that any of us can control it.

so that their agenda can be fulfilled

My agenda is to preserve the medical system in the history of the world legal systems of the greatest nation in the history of the world. If people wnat to kill themselves they should buy a shotgun instead of screwing with the systems that are in place to guard the health and freedom of myself and my descendants.
