So what? I said that Christianity and the Republican party have nothing to do with each other, and in fact are not of the same nature in any respect.

Christ told Peter to FISH on the RIGHT side of the boat, and Peter was a natural fisherman and he was NOT fishing for literal FISH. You think it does NOT matter which party is on the RIGHT side of the boat, then who cares who gets elected?
