Sorry I had to go pick tomatoes as this area was suppose to get thunderstorms.
I do not recall reading in either John or Acts anything about anyone being required to be crucified upside down in Rome as part of preaching the gospel, not that some never suffered that fate. The Constitution of these United States is a political document that preserves our right to preach the gospel as well as live life in a Christian manner. That would require Christians to be 'political' in awareness of candidates who are in this world that would seek to destroy the rule of law. Further there is nothing that is Written that instructs Christians to be second class citizens and turn blind eyes to the worldly nature of peoples who attempt to reject the very One who does bless us as individuals and as a nation.
Christ had much to say about the LAW, and He did not come to destroy it but to fulfill, so even that LAW given by Moses still stands to even this day. Christ did foretell of those that sit in the seat of Moses and how they would pervert and corrupt the LAW....
Christians should be learned enough in what Christ taught to discern when a politician makes claims about what is Christian to know if a deception is being planted.
John 16: 2-4.
