It is important that Dobson understand that electing Clinton by throwing away Republican votes will bring his heart misery he has yet to imagine.

I think it is also important to understand that abortion is a transcendent issue. We are not talking tax cuts or healthcare but we speak of killing babies.

It is perfectly understandable for Dobson to take this position on a matter of such fundamental principle. Dobson is speaking in the grand Protestant tradition, " here I stand, I can do no other."

It is important for GOP leadership to realize they it's time for them to appease Conservatives instead of the Socialist Democrats by restoring core Conservative values in the party if they expect Conservatives to support them. Electing someone like Guiliani is tantamount to voting for socialist Clinton. Conservatives will be throwing their votes away if they vote for Guiliani.

It is never wrong to act on your convictions, no matter the outcome. Dobson is right on this one.

His view is to do what is right and let God sort out the mess. Mine as well

Anyone but the Hildabeast is not the answer to our nation’s problems.

To follow what Gary Bauer said recently,

The true nightmare is Hillary taking the oath of office...
followed Hillary’s two to three Supreme Court picks...
followed by another 100+ federal judge picks by Hillary that have been stuck in the Senate

The same could be said of the moderate, centrist, but supposed mainstream elite that claim to be fiscal conservatives but are socially liberal, they hold the same responsibility.

Going Clinton lite under the guise of a moderate supposed mainstream candidate with a liberal congress will have the same results of a Clinton figure head. Just look at what a 'big tent' republican congress that got replaced by a pretend to be more conservative but in fact liberal congress has done to President Bush.

Oh and I do not get my 'doctrine' from Dobson or any of these other 'religious' figureheads. Deuteronomy 27:16-26 lays out what the cursings of a people will be upon a nation if thy shalt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Deuteronomy 28: tells exactly what the voice of the LORD thy God requires to be a blessed nation.

Irony how much these words still apply to US to this day, so which candidate defines they have a clue as to where our BLESSINGS actually come from???

In the social and moral health of the nation, there could be no short or long term practical difference between a Clinton and and a Giulliani administration.

Thank you for common sense.

At least with a Republican in the WH the Republican party can pressure a Republican president into selecting conservative Supreme Court judges. With Hillary in the WH the USA will become a fully federally funded abortion mill and the Nanny State across all 50 States will allow for non notification of abortions on juvenile girls.

My choice would be for Duncan Hunter as our President, but I am NOT staying home and allowing a Democrat to take this Whitehouse. No way.

This is such an obvious fact that it has to be Dobson trying to protect his own power by trying to manuver to be a "jessie jackson" for conservatives.

He can not succeed because conservatives do not work that way. He will only succeed in destroying himself. Pat Roberts, Bauder (sic), Buccannon have all preceeded him and all have been self eliminated from politics.

Dobson doesn’t represent millions of us Christian and we all have sense enough to see the big picture and that is, Hillary must be kept out of the White House.

It is important that the Republican National Committee understand that if the Republican nominee is pro-abortion, they have already sided with the enemy and conservatism has already lost that electoral battle.

It may bring about that misery sooner, but the alternative will get us there just the same, sooner or later. For many, pragmatism only goes so far. For to many in current 'R' leadership (who've thrown away our generational chance for lasting conservative change) pragmatism is simply code for socialism-lite.

While it’s nice to have the so called Christian leaders on our side, I don’t need them. I’ll make up my own mind when I step into the booth to select my vote. They should not think they are J. Jackson nor should they want to be

I believe that Dobson has a solid grip on the situation, and realizes that electing Rudi would, for all practical purposes, be no different than electing Hillary. The abortion issue just gives him traction, but Rudi is wrong on every single issue (other than the WOT, and I don’t trust him to be able to run that).

If the Republican Party nominates Rudy Giuliani, then the Republicans (and the country) deserve Hillary Clinton.

I have taken that stand too. If Giuliani is nominated, I am ready to endure 4 years of Hillary, as we deserve nothing better. Keep that in mind when you cast your primary vote.

It is important for republicans to remember that many of these Christians already left a party because that party left them and their morals. They have already had to choose if their morals and their country are more important than any party.

This group will sit this election out if not given a candidate to vote for, and if by the next time around they still do not have a candidate they can vote for they will create their own party....they are politically active enough.

Don't think it is just this group within the Republicans that sit out elections when not given a candidate they can stomach... the gun rights people will not go to the poles for a gun grabber, nor will most of us conservatives go to the poles for higher taxes and not only are Christians the only ones strongly pro-life.

There is a reason we are called the stupid party....put out a liberal and we do not go to the poles, and the party leaders knowing their voters will have willingly gave the election to the dems.

and you have to realize after years of panic generating fund raising the Christians are used like charlie brown kicking the football for lucy. Promised everything and never given anything.

Conservative Christian gave MILLIONS of dollars and got both branches of the senate and the presidency and did they get abortion ened in america? NOPE. We actually got the same Schtick promises followed by excuses.

If Hillary gets elected I think we can deal with it, since we stopped most of Clintons agenda. We are not going to sit around and told by lucy ( republican fundraisers) that they will hold the football this time.

Nope we’re done.
