I am really getting tired of these messages. Now, I get one from John Grisham. This is heartbreaking, but as it gets a little cooler here at night, I may have to use some books to start the firewood. That is not censorship. It is my property and I can do with it what I wish. No, I guess it really would be better to sell them and give the money to Fred or Duncan.

Hillary, rest assured that I will give him carrots if I am chosen. But if he happens to start choking on them, and he needs a little Heimlick action, I will simply say I don't recall how to do that.
You are certainly welcome, dear, for everything I do for your campaign. I will try to do more. Count on it.

WAs it Grisham or Crichton that wrote the novel about the hoax that is man induced “Global Warming”?

Many geniuses lack good old common sense. I won’t be buying any more Grisham novels [I had planned on buying the entire set to give to my Granddaughter when she is old enough for them0 ... should have kept his mouth shut if that’s the rodent he prefers.

Kind of makes you wonder how he can be so chummy with Hill and Bill if he indeed based The Firm on the Rose Law Firm.

No real surprise. He served six years in the Mississippi State Legislature as a Democrat.

It is a statement about their true intellect and character that some people who manage to accumulate wealth, by whatever means, feel entitled to lecture us about ethics, morals, the social good.
Who's next?
Michael Vick?

I already put my old Springsteen CDs in the microwave for a little fireworks.

I’ll take Michael Crichton anytime over that has been lawyer. He much smarter and the plots to his novels are way better.

Don’t burn them, they are very good writing. But don’t put any more money into supporting him or the ‘firm’ he uses. I had planned to buy as part of the ‘legacy library’, but my granddaughter will just have to borrow my copies if she chooses to read him in the future.

When the ‘axis of weasels’ was in vogue I chose to call the clintinoid sycophants the ‘axis of acorns’, bitter little nuts from the dead-soul tree.

I already put my old Springsteen CDs in the microwave for a little fireworks. Hate to tell ya, but the new one with the E-Street Band (which comes out Tuesday) is his best since "Born the USA," IMHO. Only one overtly political song; the rest could be good cuts off "The River" or "Darkness on the Edge of Town."
Some great Clarence Clemons, too.
For the most part, he took Laura's advice and shut up and sang. Well.

But dont put any more money into supporting him I picked up several hardcovers recently for $3 each at a used book store. I wonder if the author benefits in any way when you buy his book on the cheap at a used-book shop? Hopefully not.

“I wont be buying any more Grisham novels ....”
That goes for me as well. Yet another artist/performer/writer I have to avoid becuase their politics have ruined it for me. Cannot lose myself in a novel with the info niggling at my brain. Add him to the list which already has Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and many others. They should take Laura Ingrhams advice and “Shut Up And Sing.”

Nope. The author got his when he cashed the publisher's royalty check, which is based on new-copy sales. Whatever the used-book store gets stops with the bookmonger.
As for Grisham, everything since Pelican Brief has been increasingly lame, repetitive, derivative, tendentious preachery, not fit for the bottom of even an undiscriminating parakeet's cage.
As for "Thank you so much for everything you do...," isn't that what Shelob, in person, told Juanita Broaddrick at a campaign get-together a few years back?
