UK whites a minority in London classrooms

White British-born children are now the minority in many London schools, official figures showed today.

In Tower Hamlets, 15 per cent of primary school pupils are classed as white British, while 63 per cent of their classmates come from Bangladeshi families.

Tories said the figures, released by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, showed the changes were putting pressure on schools, which had to make sure those who did not speak English learned as soon as possible.

Conservative immigration spokesman Damian Green said: "If they can't, and they are being taught in overcrowded classrooms, this makes it much harder for teachers to do their job."

And thats not because of “positive discrimination”. The speaker is alluding to some existent negative discrimination.

But that 7-8% has arrived in little more than the last 50 years and the trend is accelerating rapidly.

I wonder if they also include the madrassas inside mosques. Pretty soon Indians and Chinese would be the only ones in Britain that graduate from non religious schools.

BTW I did most part of my schooling from a Christian convent in spite of being a Hindu. It would be unimaginable for Christians or Muslims to study at a religious school other then that of their own religion.

The former involves imposing a police state to hold down the existing nation and the latter is what will probably happen anyway after a few more decades.

Silly headline. The article makes it plain that ethnicity is not the problem itself - language skills are. I’ve known plenty of Pakistani, Indian, European, Japanese, Middle Eastern and Chinese descendants in England whose language skills are perfect after generations there.

The problem is the more recent ones with lousy language skills, regardless of whether they’re non-White (ie African, Asian, etc) or white (ie Poles, Slovenians, Hungarians, etc).

Looks like Chinese and Indian ancestory people are getting too successful. Some of them should be forced to step aside from their jobs and make room for White British and Black Carribeans.

"America is far more overrun than Britain is." Wrong. The British have surrendered their national culture and customs to a far, far greater extent that we Americans have. Brits are well on their way to sharia, and in that sense, the British HAVE ALLOWED themselves to be overrun. The Imams are running things there. The Brits have lost their country, it's just a matter of time before the political reality matches the cultural reality.

Although the Muslims and others are pushing the envelope here, the U.S., on the other hand, still has a chance of remaining a Christian land and the final outpost of Western civilization. We still have our guns. The Brits surrendered theirs. ENOCH POWELL WAS RIGHT.
