If you can't tell the difference between American fathers who protect their daughters and third-world crazies who kill their daughters then you are the one with the problem. I don't know what country you grew up in, but deterring horny little predators from touching one's daughters is indeed normal -- and necessary.
So it is okay for fathers that have failed to instruct their children to use violence??? This is true even if their child was an active participant. And this is different how??

Again...both the father and the daughter are responsible for the daughter’s choice of behavior...not the boy. The father’s response to the incident is as primitive as Sharia Law.
The father did not beat this boy in self defense. Therefore he behaved in defiance of our laws. He needs to move to Pakistan.
