Teen Beaten By Girlfriend's Dad Faces Sex Charge

(AP) WEARE, N.H. First, a father was charged with beating up his daughter's boyfriend last week after learning the two had sex. Now, police are preparing to charge the boy with sexual assault.

The 17-year-old boy from Henniker, who admitted to having sex with his 15-year-old girlfriend, will "absolutely" be charged, police said.

Weare Detective Lou Chatel said the boy will be charged as an adult and could face up to a year in jail.

Both teens admitted to having sex during school hours on Sept. 10, but off school property, Chatel said. That afternoon, he said, the girl's father went to John Stark Regional High School and attacked the boy.

School had just let out and the parking lot was filled with students and parents.

The boy suffered cuts and bruises and received two stitches to his face. The father was charged with simple assault.

It all began that morning when the girl did not show up for her first class, even though she had been seen at school.

School officials searched the building, then put out a school-wide page. When the girl didn't respond, they called her parents.

Principal Michael Turmelle the parents helped search for their daughter, called her cell phone and coordinated with school officials.

The teens returned to school at the same time, through separate doors.

The principal said he's upset at the number of people who have sided with the father.

"We all work so hard to give our kids a safe place to go to," he said. "Any time we have an act of violence, it's very upsetting because it is completely antithetical to what we're trying to accomplish."

The girl and her siblings have transferred to another school, Turmelle said.

Wow....it’s like going back in time fifty years.

In nearly every way, this society is worse off now than it was then. Rule of law, sexual modesty, slaughter of the unborn. Our Founders would simply puke if they saw what we have become.

Big brothers are great!

Sisters are also great when it comes to an obsessed girl stalking her brother. :)

“Do they really expect ‘restraint’ in a liberal society in which sex figures in every TV, film, commercial and a public system that feels it must instruct first graders about sexual preferences?”

Siding with the “liberal society” against the father.

I agree that the father, himself, kind o’ set a trap for the girl in the first place, by having her in a public school, where, as you say, they are instructing first graders about sex, . . .

Did the father condone the girls having a boyfriend? Don’t know. What had the parents taught the daughter, and what limits were set for her.

But I’m all for fathers removing the teeth of boys who mess with their daughters, frankly. And I’m all for fathers removing the teeth of such principles, too. As I stated before, short of killing the boy or seriously bebilitating him, I so no problem with a good public beating. I also agree that had the father not taken this action, the police would probably have not brought any charges.

> That sir is the essence of this whole argument. To expect 15 and 17 year old kids to show the restraint and maturity that this father can’t is unlikely if the parents haven’t instilled a since of virtue in their kids. They will do this sort of thing simply because they like it if there is no moral compass to keep them from it.

Then I think you have captured it rather well, because there is not a darn thing in the above summary that I could possibly reasonably disagree with.

> Big brothers are great!

My “little” brother (he’s twice my build) and I kept our sisters well-guarded, and chased off all sorts of well-meaning but ill-suited “boyfriends”.

It all comes with the territory — otherwise, we’d all be doomed to have doofus for a nephew: he’d resemble someone we never liked and haven’t seen since he took off on her four years ago (poor kid!) and has six fingers and plays the banjo and drools! Moreover, he probably doesn’t like to go fishing and plays with dolls when nobody is looking.

Some nephew, poor kid!

Brothers were invented to prevent that from happening to their families, and it is a negligent brother who does not carry out the office of guarding his sisters with gusto. Even if she doesn’t appreciate the effort!

I agree.

The boy’s getting charged as an adult for sexual assault?!? That’s total crappola. So he’s going to be branded for life for doing something common among teenagers?

Methinks daddy’s little girl just learned that it’s OK to be a slut. The Law approves.

That's how it works. And it's worked just fine for thousands of years.

We mothers and fathers can put the fear of God in them as well. How my daughters hated to bring their boyfriend over for us to meet them before they could go out with them.

The stories I could tell. lol

Agreed. Many years later, my daughters agree with what we and our son did. And will apply the same measures when their girls come to dating age. It continues.

It’s the law, but I don’t agree with it. It’s not the same as a 17 year old with a 12 year old - they’re only 2 years apart.

I’m not saying they should be having sex, far from it, but is this really an issue the LAW needs to be involved in?

Brothers....Sisters.....I think it’s just large families. I have sisters only. My Mom sent one of them with me when I went out. It was usually the informer.

There may be more to this story. It is quite possible the father knew of the relationship and had talked with Romeo and Juliet before and they refused to listen. That might be the reason he blew up. We also don’t know if he punished his daughter or not.

Oh the memories you just brought back to me, lol.

My oldest sister, who's almost 60 now, when she went on a date pop sent four of us to chaperon them. My two brothers and my sister and myself. My other brother and sister were too young, but I imagine pop would have sent them along as well if they weren't so little. If they went to the drive in we were not allowed to get out of the car and go play on the swings under the screen.

Looking back now, how horrible that must have been for my sister.

I can understand the dad’s reaction, but why is the boy being charged with sexual assault?”

I’m betting that 15 us considered underage in that state, and she is not legally able to give consent.
We need some new laws on the books for underage skanks, IMO.

For all we know he just turned 17 and she might be turning 16 in three months.

Perhaps......for all that we know he was 17 years 11 months and 29 days and it was her 15th birthday.

Doesn’t matter does it?
We cannot pick and choose which laws to obey unless we willingly accept the consequences of those illegal actions.

That type of thinking is what got us into this whole mess with immigration and foreign criminals deciding which of our laws they should break, and which they will be bothered with.

I am well aware of the moral decadence of modern western society (decadent meaning “fallen from a higher plane or ideal”) so your points about those parents are well put, but it is we who must work for the future change - “labor ad futurum”

To that end we do not allow our children to be subject to, or enveloped by, the farce that is the public school Matrix.

A beating is the least that the kid could expect.

Thank you for your reply. - Bill
