Without the Leftists promoting and running interference for these groups these disagreements, at least in this country, would simply evaporate. The predominant culture would assert itself and the Muzziez, Mexicans and others would simply be told to live by our rules and learn to like them or be shown the door, period. It is the Leftists, our fifth column, that are at the HEART of these problems.

That's exactly right.

I wish somebody had a decent Halo type quality video game about a global war of Christian soldiers retaking earth from planetary rule of Islam that has taken all technology and modern conveniences that were contrary to Islam and turned the whole planet into a footbath, the story could be several hundred years in the future or just a decade or two but basically its a gorefest shooting gallery of several billion Muslims against the free society of man that is far outnumbered but possess superior weapons.

Let' call it

This is what happens when we allow seemingly little bans to occur. People need to start stepping up and yelling back just as loudly (well doesnt have to be yelling, but our voices have to be heard).
People have been chipping away at Traditions and freedoms for some time now.

Many want to change the USA into their image - an Islamic State. That is the plan.

And that plan is openly stated by so-called "moderate" Muslim organizations (like CAIR).

"Those who stay in America should be open to society without melting. ...Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

- Omar Ahmad, co-founder of CAIR (The Council on American-Islamic Relations)

The worst part is, this will encourage some people in that part of the Chicago metropolitan area to move to Mchenry County, because they have trashed their part of town so badly that they can’t stand it any more, so they come out here and ruin what used to be a nice place to live.

The Left will run interference for Muzzie groups as long as the issues in question are Santa Claus and other holiday decorations, but when the Muzzies start complaining about issues sacred to the Left (like the homo agenda, for instance) there'll be some major conflicts.

but I once had a discussion with a fellow atheist who was whining about Bush's being a Christian.

I suspect this same (liberal) atheist wasn't offended in the least when both Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter carried around big Bibles, invoked God as much as any modern Republican President ever has, and attended church regularly. It's only Republicans as Christians they have a problem with. ....but good luck getting them to admit it.

Maybe the UK school that didn’t allow the child with allergies to peanuts because they couldn’t keep him safe had it right.

Schools have the responsibility to offer food that is healthy. They do not have the right or responsibility to pander to every religious, ethnic, or cult that comes along.

If they quit offering jello, then they must make sure everything offered is kosher. They must also quit serving meat in general. We musn’t have our vegans upset - or the hindus. So gone are meats, meat byproducts, anything that is not kosher or has been seasoned with meat, dairy, or eggs. Then we have nuts get rid of those too.

What a crock of liberal crap. These are the same people that don’t want God mentioned. Yet they are using religious reasons to get rid of things. Huh?

It's not bacon - it's Zebra.

I've never heard the Iraqis call it that, but it makes sense.

Sort of.

Quite a few of them eat it. The PORK kind. And they know it's the pork kind.

Doesn't surprise me. Like most Turks, the pork-eating Muslims you speak of are of the secular variety. I doubt many (if any) Muslims who regularly pray to Mecca 5x/day and observe the other religious obligations eat pork.

Secular (and most reform) Jews eat pork as well.

Doesn't surprise me, either.

Iraq is largely secular, despite how the media portrays it.

It's easy to get pork products at butcher shops in Baghdad - and I'm sure in other cities as well.

Several of the ones we work with and around are eschewing that whole Ramalamadingdong fasting as well.

Yep, it's the people desperately trying to destroy it who are the religious fanatics. ....the Iranian Mullahs and their gov't stooges, Al Qaeda, Wahhabi sects, etc.

Gee, the Orthodox Jewish students who went to public schools always just brought a sack lunch... I don't recall anyone attempting to make schools serve Kosher foods to keep from "offending" Jews. Oh, that's right... Jews don't saw off your head, or run around screaming "Jihaaaaad!!!!! and then blowing up innocent women and children when they get offended...

Next it will be Independence Day, Washington/Lincoln’s B-day, Memorial Day... since these must be deeply offensive to those sensitive muzzies...

no doubt ... but at least Thanksgiving will remain intact ... so long as everyone eats their koranberries.

"Maybe they’ll consider banning me, since I’m definitely offensive to Muslims. Well, I try to be, at least. :D"

Have patience my FRiend, they will get to you in due time.

I guess Americans have to learn all this the hard way - Myself I'm almost at the point of giving up all my long-winded rants on the subject. They seem to fall on deaf ears anymore.

The Muslims can either leave the U.S. or start their own school and pay for it themselves.

I have a Muslim roommate. She’s from Turkey and hates strict Muslims. However, she thinks that strict Muslims must be accommodated in every way. She simply refuses to listen when I tell her that we have long-standing rules here about how much accommodation is necessary for minority religions. Our laws and customs mean absolutely nothing to her when it comes to Islam. She became upset recently when she finally realized, after 6 years here, that Christianity and Islam will remain separate, at least here in the U.S. I suppose this means that she thinks that we must all be killed or converted by the sword.

She has VISA problems and will be leaving this winter. As far as I’m concerned, she can take all but one of her friends with her, including the ones who have become citizens for convenience reasons.

One of her friends likes the U.S. fairly well. He says that Americans are better at welcoming newcomers than are the British. He became a citizen because he wanted to participate in our political system, which is good. Unfortunately, he really likes Hillary.

Jews have similar dietary laws, and I don’t recall anytime Jews tried to change what everyone else ate. But then again, they simply don’t eat forbidden foods - they don’t seem to take personal offence at being near it. If Americans continue to remove everything a Muslim finds offensive, we’ll be living under Shira law. If that is what they want, maybe they should think about relocating 6 or 7,000 miles further east.

But no, that won’t happen. Many want to change the USA into their image - an Islamic State.

Agreed, I'm sick of this stuff. If they want to come here and be part of our society and be peaceful (I know there are peaceful Moslems but it seems they are few and far between) members of our society while worshiping as they please, fine but when they want to bring their country's lifestyle with them to America, the UK, Europe, Canada, or other Western nations, I have a huge problem with that. If they wanted to have the same exact things they had in their countries, then why did they leave in the first place. For those who don't want to take part in our society and such, I'm for putting them on the first boat out of here.

I'm Lutheran, my faith prohibits meat on Good Friday. Where I work at the cafeteria very accomodation for Catholics in Lent, my faith on Good Friday, and so far to my knowledge, Jews as well, you just select food that doesn't prohibit your values and beliefs. I didn't want fish this year, too big of a meal, makes me sleepy, a no-no at work so I selected a small cheese pizza or I could have had a grilled cheese sandwich.

A side note, I'm a big role playing game junky. I like the game "The Morrow Project" where your characters wake up from a deep freeze 150 to 200 years after an atomic war (or castastrophe of your choice or mix therof) with the mission to rebuild the U.S. and Canada and Western Civilization in general. Now if that is real life, I'd be afraid of what I would find in 150 to 200 years from now. Crap, I'm afraid to see what the next 10 or 20 will bring.

Heh, I wss thinking along the same lines. Gives me an idea for my Morrow Project game where the characters wake up 150 to 200 years after the world succumbed to an atomic war and general collapse. The U.S. and Canada are balkanized with nations that vary in technology from 1850 to 1950/1960 generally with few exceptions and depending what they have. You have an isolationist Australia and New Zealand, rising powers in South America with small pockets of colonies in the U.S. The most dangerous power, Eurabia, where after the collapse of Western Civilization in Europe, the Moslems move in save a weakened UK just holding barley by a thread. How Eurabia makes its presence known is, people on the east coast become missing as the Eurabians come over and get slaves in prepartation of an invasion. I'm hashing this out, coming up with ideas to make it plausible. Come to think of it, it would be a good way to reunite the U.S. and Canada or at least get all the balkanized parts to work together in a NATO-like pact. In most games, you have breakaway city-states to regions like a "rump-USA" in Virginia, the Kentucky Free State, The New Confederacy, American Indian Nations, Desert Republic, Oil men of Alberta, Texas, Aztlan, and The Krell (pure evil). With the exception of the Krell, it would make a good catalist to get everyone on the same page.

If you want to read a book of similar ideas but very hopeless for us, get Robert A. Heinlein's "Farhnam's Freehold" where a survivalist family takes a direct hit from a nuke and is sent 2000 years into the future. The world is dominated by a mish/mash of Islamic beliefs, some Hindu tossed in along with African beliefs where the Third World, lightest hit, while Europe, North America and so on get pounded, they come to dominance an take over the world where the former peoples of the Western World are slaves and they are even eaten by the conquerers. Technology, they have force fields and anti-gravity. I'll tone the tech down a but for my game to give the people and the Project a better chance but still want a challenge.

As to Crusader 2099, sign me up, I want my character to be equipped with an M1 Garand or a 1903 Springfield rifle along with a .357 Magnum revolver while riding a BMW motorcycle and be awakened after being frozen in 2007. B-)
