In Iraq, we can have pork, Jell-O and anything else we want in the chow halls.
The Iraqis who share it with us have never complained about the menu to my knowledge. In fact, I see some of them eating bacon in the mornings. If they don't eat certain things, they just don't eat it. They don't care if we do.
It's the PC weenies back home causing all that crap.
To resolve a problem one must first define what the problem is. Once that is accomplished, then a plan to resolve the problem can be made.
The Left has repeatedly placed obstacles in the way of defining the problem we have today as they apparently believe the Muslims are allied in their vision towards Global domination, ie; useful idiots, yet the Muslims haven’t the similar Socialist perspectives other than Global Domination.
The problem that must be defined on our side (Western) in spite of the Leftist obstacles is the same definition as the Muslims.
This is a Religious War.
They should go back to however they were doing it before. If the Muslim families don't like it, they can go back to whichever pile of sand they came from.

So, if they just act as if the threat isn't there--because to see Muslims as a threat to this country would mean one is anti-Muslim, a bigot--then ergo, there simply IS no threat.
I mention this frequently on FR so I apologize to those who have to read it yet again, but I once had a discussion with a fellow atheist who was whining about Bush's being a Christian. I said to him, "Something like 80% or more of Americans are Judeo-Christian. Which means that our government, police, military, are all 80% or so Judeo-Christian. Yet we have all these free speech rights, gay rights, all kinds of rights, even with these 'rotten' Christians in charge, like Bush, agreed?"

I said, "Now imagine that tonight, overnight, every person in our government, state and local and federal, police, military, etc. who are Judeo-Christian suddenly becomes a Muslim. NOT a 'terrorist' or 'radical' but a 'plain old ordinary' Muslim. You think women and gays and non-Muslims, including atheists, will have the rights we have under eeeevil Bush?"
You can predict the response from him (he's a liberal).
But it's something I think about a lot. Most Americans don't want to think about it, so they don't. But that's not making the problem go away.

IMHO there are two separate agendas driving in the same direction, but with opposite goals. The Muzziez and the Leftists are using each other to get what they want, with an unspoken understanding that at some point in the future they will be at each others throats.
There is the Muzzie agenda, which is out front and flogged endlessly by the Leftist MSM, politicians and quasi political positions like school boards, supposedly in the name of “freedom”. Its purpose is to serve as a lightening rod for our understandable anger.
Then there is the even more dangerous agenda of the Leftists, who use the Muzziez (and Mexicans and others too) as cudgels with which to bash Christianity and traditional Western thought and values.
The overall intent is to use those groups as weapons with which to do the dirty work of attacking their conservative and Christian enemies, while at the same time presenting themselves as arbiters of the conflicts, attempting to appear “above the fray” and uniquely positioned to settle these disputes with their “enlightened” view of the world. All the while they are the ones stoking the fires of discontent and setting groups against each other.
That is not to say that the Muzzies, Mexicans and others do not have their own agendas to take power in some form - They do. The point is, at least in this country, that it is the Leftists are at the very heart of fomenting most of these issues, and they are the ones pouring gasoline on the embers of disagreement in an attempt to have their enemies fight each other, leaving the Leftists with a free hand to take control.
Without the Leftists promoting and running interference for these groups these disagreements, at least in this country, would simply evaporate. The predominant culture would assert itself and the Muzziez, Mexicans and others would simply be told to live by our rules and learn to like them or be shown the door, period. It is the Leftists, our fifth column, that are at the HEART of these problems.
The Leftists will have to be eviscerated eventually, and the sooner the better.
