In California the top income tax rate is 12%. Every time someone comes up with a nifty idea like Stem Cell Research or Government Mental Health Programs, they just add another 1% to the tax rate and the idiot liberals and illegal aliens vote it in. Since the “rich” end up paying the extra 1%, it’s no sweat off their backs.
I still remember when California was Reagan Country. (sigh)
