Congress Denounces Iran’s Ahmadinejad
Kinda hard to be for the disapproval and not for punishing.
BUMP
Whether this legislation passes or not, the point being:
Columbia is called on the stupidity.
Duncan Hunter walks the walk, while others blow hot air.
Good for him. I think we ought to cut the money off to all left wing organizations including the universities.
He wasn’t kiddin, was he?
He really looked p.o.ed here:

“Good for him. I think we ought to cut the money off to all left wing organizations including the universities.”
That is one thing that really ticks me off, my tax dollars going to fund the left. They need to be defunded and we need to elect people who will do just that. Thank you, Duncan Hunter! It’s a good start!!
Great bill, but I wish it could pass..... and if only we could include a ban on federal funds to EVERY university that sponsors America-haters, foreign enemies, and domestic traitors, especially now in time of war. Include Hofstra U. which has the traitor Lynne Stewart (terrorist enabler) on their “ethics” faculty for a legal training seminar in mid-Oct. Include every university that sponsors Jihad-enablers and traitors who work on behalf of enemy propaganda campaigns.
I like it...Should be extended to all universities.
What a great bill!!!!
Duncan Hunter has done it AGAIN!
Jay Sekulow has talked about this on his radio show around 4 days in a row, and will be covering Duncan Hunter’s bill again next week.
I even did a thread about it:

Jay Sekulow and his organization fight for pro-life causes, religious liberties, etc. in the U.S.A. and around the world, and are strong on other important conservative issues like border security, WOT, etc.

HUNTER INTRODUCES RESTORING PATRIOTISM TO AMERICAS CAMPUSES ACT
Washington, D.C. U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA), ranking Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, today announced the introduction of the Restoring Patriotism to Americas Campuses Act. The legislation disqualifies Columbia University from receiving any form of federal assistance following its hosting of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
This week, Columbia University President Lee Bollinger ignored public outrage and decided not to withdraw his invitation to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said Congressman Hunter. As President Ahmadinejad appeared on the stage provided to him by one of our nations most prestigious academic institutions, arrogantly questioning Americas domestic and foreign policies while attempting to justify his own behavior, his agents continued moving roadside bombs and other munitions into Iraq to be used against U.S. troops.
By hosting President Ahmadinejad, Columbia University openly insulted the thousands of servicemen and women serving in Iraq, most of whom are direct targets of the munitions that he is sending across the Iraq-Iran border. This insult is compounded by the fact that Columbia University dissolved its Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and continues to protest the presence of military recruiters on campus. It is troubling to see that a university such as Columbia, with a reputation as one of Americas leading universities, is more receptive to Americas adversaries than it is to the military that protects its right to free speech and assembly.
Before President Ahmadinejad appeared at Columbia, I expressed these concerns to Mr. Bollinger and indicated my intention, if the event proceeded as scheduled, to introduce legislation to disqualify the University from any form of federal assistance. I believe this legislation is an appropriate and reasonable response to an institution that welcomes a sponsor of terrorism while saying no to our nations collegiate military training and recruitment program.
While I am a strong proponent of free speech, providing this platform to President Ahmadinejad as he continues sending munitions into Iraq to be used against U.S. troops while also racing to acquire a nuclear weapon, only lends credibility to his actions and continued antics. If Columbia University wants to continue hosting our adversaries while turning its back on our military, then U.S. taxpayers should not be required to support the Universitys programs.
NOTE: Columbia dissolved its ROTC program in 1969 and has maintained its prohibitive policy ever since.

Adding, the Minutemen were escorted off the campus too even though they were invited.
Some have argued “well they invited the Minutemen”. What a grotesque insult to compare these patriots to an enemy of our nation
>Congressman Hunter keeps his word.<
Yup. Rep. Hunter says what he means and does what he says! He always has. Even during a heavy campaign schedule!!
God bless this incredible man.
Some argued that? They were escorted off campus. If they are going to compare the Minutemen to the terrorist, point out that the terrorist was escorted off campus. Ahmadinejad wasn’t.
I would love to know if Bollinger was one of the 23 at this dinner:
