It may be out of line to paint the whole town as poor white trash, but let's just concede the point that the perp's middle name is 'Earl'.
Having 'Earl' as a middle name makes a suspect instantly guilty, and you already know that.

I believe this happened around Navarro Mills Lake which is not Corsicana. Both are in Navarro County with Corsicana being the county seat. We had a lake house on Lake Richland Chambers and I did some work in Corsicana for two years. There are a lot of people who would be considered poor and some might be labeled white trash, but the majority are decent working people.
