My wife was born 12 months premature ... and shes definitely the brains of the outfit.
Considering that she was born 3 months before she was conceived, that IS amazing! ;)
(Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

My youngest was born 14 weeks early and weighed 1 lb 11 oz. If anyone wants to know what the road to hell is paved with just ask. And then too I can tell you about heaven on earth. He won his first national championship at age 6 1/2 and needs a separate room for his trophies and awards.
To: HockeyPop
I completely agree with you......having lived it FROM AFAR with Logan.....I can maybe only begin to imagine what you all go through with your Preemie Babies.
A separate room for his trophies and awards, huh? Now how cool is that? :)
Congratulations!!!!!!!

But don't you see, it isn't really a baby yet, it's just an agglomeration of cells with the potential of becoming a baby. It won't become an actual human being until it reaches 270 days from conception according to Planned Parenthood, and they're the experts on that kind of thing,,,, aren't they?.
(Do I really need a sarcasm tag?)

If anyone wants to know what the road to hell is paved with just ask. My preemie was a little over 3 lbs, born at 31-1/2 weeks.
If I wasn't a praying woman before having him, I sure am one now!
Nowadays, I can't seem to keep enough food in him. He's 12.
