This is the main quote that I jotted down, in response to question about what Edwards would do for inner city youth....

The idea that we just keep incarcerating and incarcerating.... pretty soon we're not gonna have an African-American male population in this country.... they're all gonna be in prison or dead."

Then he went into a whole lotta pandering about education, health care, then crime statistics -- he pulled the usual leftist trick of citing only outcomes, i.e., he whined that black males are charged and convicted at higher rates and get longer sentences without any reference to actual CRIMES committed.
