I just read what he actually said...and I’m fine with his statement. It’s a valid point, one that can be argued over. I’ve actually winced a few times when physicians that I know, have made similarly off putting statments regarding death. I think to a doctor life is life, and death is death...regardless of how it was taken. I do however understand how that statement might offend some.

Well you are in the minority of freepers with that opinion. The only ones that support his ridiculous analogy are Paulnuts, which is not surprising. Paul is alienating himself from those that he needs to remain in Congress, republican voters. Libertarians and democrats can not save his arse this time. Those that show undying support for this foolish man no matter what he says or does, are alienating htemselves too here on FR.
