He called his mommy!LOL

Maybe he thought Jim would be interested in joining in the conversation. This seems to be a topic that Jim is passionate about, and, as the founder of the largest on-line Conservative forum, I think he would lend a valuable thought to the debate.

No need to mock someone for pinging him.

(courtesy ping Jim, I bet your ears are burning)

Could you explain to me how it makes a person a coward to not want to send young men and women off to a war to be possibly killed?

He is a coward because he is afraid to stand up against the people who want to kill us.

Winston Churchill was made an honorary American citizen and I’ll give odds Margeret Thatcher will be also. But then again, they were more pro-American than many born or naturalized here.

HAHAHAHA.Plan B.LOL

he question also was, name your American Heroes. This could be interpreted two ways. Name Americans who were your heroes. or Name heroes to Americans.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!You ever hear the term "Philadelphia lawyer. No wonder you guys hate Paul so much. You take a simple question and give me the ACLU "well,it could mean this.I see that no-one else got that confused.

My question’s Plan A was to expose a Paulistinian as not that different from a Leftist Kucinich follower: They both see America’s history as one of a country that never lived up to it’s Constitution and has therefore been nothing but a chronology of evil.

I’m a pragmatic voting Libertarian....I know that he will not get the nomination. But I hope he gets a decent percentage of the vote, so that his ideas have a platform for discussion. That said, I’ll vote for whomever the nominee is.

Eh, I’m a large L libertarian so I’m sure many of my views would be viewed as radical. I’m good with that. I’d like to think that the republican party is the true big umbrella party...where there’s room for all.

Actually I hope he keeps winning that district, if you can feed me a source for that quote fine. Doesn’t mean I’ll think any less of him. It’s his opinion and at least he has the balls to voice it. I’m okay with a candidate who doesn’t share my views 100% of the time....that’s who I’ll end up voting for in the general.... a compromise.

***Actually, Ron Paul is probably the only candidate that could turn a solid red state blue. And a blue state even more blue.****

Well Ike was elected to get us out of Korea and Nixon was elected to get us out of Nam. 70% of the people are against the war now and that number will probably go to 80% by next election, unless there is a huge major improvement in Iraq. Very doubtful that will happen. You want to tell me that the more hawkish candidate will win in that type situation.

Humphrey would have beat Nixon in 68, if he could have distanced himself from LBJ’s war soon enough.

****Is that the lie you tell to get people to support Paul? I hope it hasn’t worked, only a fool would believe it.*****

Since when did opinions become lies? I am beginning to see that a lot of the anti-Ron Paul sentiment comes from people who have difficulties thinking in a logical manner.

*****Paul’s whacked out views on the war basically justifies democrats in opposing the war and their weak-at-the-knees policies on terrorism would automatically be a dead-issue, and his “get rid of everything that the founders didn’t mention in the constitution” views on pretty much everything isn’t supported by, well, anyone except his libertarian posse and the conspiracy kooks who are afraid the NWO will invade their trailers.****

Perhaps if you spent a bit of time looking at RP’s positions instead of just bashing him, you would see he is not as radical as you try to paint him. E.g. He would get rid of SS by first letting the youngest people opt out. He would protect the people depending on SS for retirement by funding it with some of the money saved by ending foreign aid and other reductions in the national government. He knows that you can’t just turn a switch and end a lot of these long standing programs, so there would be a period of transition.

****Having 2 bush-bashers, 1 a democrat and 1 a libertarian, in 2008 does NOTHING BUT HARM for the GOP or conservatives. Stop trying to sabotage Republicans with that nonsense.****

Ron Paul’s message is mainly a positive one about what he would do to reduce the size of the federal government and stop our interventionalist foreign policy. But he is for trade will all nations and diplomatic ties with all nations.

I think we should get rid of NASA because it is not in the Constitution.

Wrong agency. DoD and other un-named agencies have military space assets for both offensive and defensive, not NASA. You have obviously not read their mission statement:

To advance and communicate scientific knowledge and understanding of the earth, the solar system, and the universe.

To advance human exploration, use, and development of space.

To research, develop, verify, and transfer advanced aeronautics and space technologies.

The cleanest reading of his request was “name heroes of American history.” No requirement they be either American or heroes of Americans, merely heroic individuals in American history.

If Winston Churchill,Margaret Thatcher, and Pope John are legitimate answers to this question, what does the word American mean here? How would that question differ from "the last 150 years of history?

Whether the question was interpreted to mean heroes to Americans OR Americans that were hero, it was a question that could be answered in 10-seconds - unless you are are an anti-American leftist or Paulestinian - who both see America history to be one of evil men and evil deeds.
