About a year ago, my wife and I were eating at a local Chinese buffet place. There was a man there ranting and raving about how the “Christers” were going to try to take over the country and “someone needs to do something about it.”

That shocked me, but I have heard it more and more. Later I had a co worker tell me that he feared me voting and being active in politics since I was a Christian. He was (and might still be) convinced that I was going try to launch a theocratic coup.

This is classic propaganda. First you plant the seed, then you dehumanize your opponent, and then can move against them.

Guess what point we are in.
