There’s a rebellion taking place throughout the state among county DMV offices. I don’t see this going away or getting swept under the rug.

DMV personnel know the way the system works, and the debacle that will ensue.

Politicans are throwing out govt freebies and stuff, sucking up to invaders for their illegal votes.

In NY, DMV clerks around the state are upset by the change and are seeking legal advice to determine whether they have to abide by it. If they do not have to abide by the change, applicants without SS# numbers may be directed to state DMV offices rather than county-operated DMV offices.

Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:

FREEPER AmericanInTokyo MAKES THIS SUGGESTION to give Gov Suckup a run for his money:

1. Call the NY DMV from your state (outside NY).

2. Tell them you are NOT A RESIDENT of the State Of New York.

3. Tell them for personal reasons you wish to establish a presence there, at least on paper.

4. Ask them if they will let you get a driver’s license through their office, even though you are not in the state legally.

5. See what their answer is.

6. Tell them that you occasionally drive without your license, so would it be OK to skirt “just that one law from time to time” and leave the license at home when you visit New York State.......and drive as “undocumented”?

7. Pass this around to media, internet blogs, late night comedy show hosts, friends, family, email lists.

If Spitzer were head of hiring at the CIA, I suppose he would require either:

1) The applicant to pass a security check, or

2) A letter stating that the applicant failed a security check, plus 6 “points” of identity proof, with a foreign passport counting 3 points.

If this preposterous kind of policy spreads to other states, we will have a de facto North American Union in no time.

Seems idiotic, doesn’t it? I’m sure since NY and NJ have pushed it through, Rendell will want it for us in PA. Woo hoo. I think that Spitzer thinks as long as these newly documented illegals remember to vote Dem in Nov 08 (illegal-shmillegal), who cares?
