STAR-TELEGRAM / STEWART F. HOUSE
Anna Maria Negrete of Irving, left, holds a corner of the United States flag at a demonstration on the steps of Irving City Hall protesting the deportation of illegal immigrants.
I wish the headline was reversed. “Protests Lead to Deportation”.
A good start. A couple thousand more criminals booted out and the protests will cease to be a problem.
How dare the City of Irving obey the provisions of a perfectly Constitutional federal law!. [/s
You have to wonder what the protesters did or said to a pair of 60 somethings to get that sort of reaction? I'd guess "did" was a more likely guess than "said".
Funny they don't have pictures of the old folks. But I found one. It's a good one too.
JUST in Irving, CA.
I’m sick to death of the police driving away the Americans and protecting the damned criminal invaders and their toadies.
I want to see the crimaliens driven out.
Dear “protesters”, if you don’t like the l-a-w being enforced, STFU and leave! Legal and law abiding immigrants welcome. Illegals and troublemakers not!

I can’t remember the details, but it seems that back in 1994, 1995, there was a militia movement that threatened to take thousands to the Mexican border to secure it, charging that the federal government was failing in its responsibility. It seems to me that it was led by a man named Cooper (but I’m just trying to recollect), and that the Feds actually entered into some kind of talks with him to try to convince him not to lead militia to the Mexican border. It seems that there were promises made of some policy changes to get the leader to call off the militia threat to patrol the border.
Does anyone remember anything like this taking place?
