While I was away a nice looking gent started up a converstation with me and he started talking about his grandchildren and mentioned his gs who had just returned from Iraq and is going back. The man lives in N.N.J.
He had never heard about the GOE or rolling thunder or any of those pro troops rallies and I told him what I could only because he seemed locked on to the issue.
He was so happy. He had no idea. I had pix with me and he teared up.
Here he was a VN Vet and he was clearly touched when I promised him that we would not permit the same garbage to happen to his grandson that did to him and his fellow servicemen.
I told him aobut Mark and Steve and he was anxious to begin listening. I went back to my room and cried like a baby.
If we were reimbursed for just the last 10 yrs, we would really crunch the Fed budget, but hey, what it has done to our S.D. budget.
