Something in reverse happened to the Hakka

They began their migration from the north with some Caucasian features and arrived in the south with classic Chinese features.

There were "other groups" in the Far North with a variety of relationships ~ all but a dozen or so have disappeared in the last half millenia. Or, worse, we haven't been able to keep track of them. The Hakka are a case in point.

These are also the folks thought to form a major component of the ethnic Chinese migration to the Japanese home islands. They've totally disappeared in that mix, as have the European silk boll traders, South Asians, and so forth.

BTW, the Hakka girls actually are prettier than the Han girls.
