The speeches of Ahmadinejad shouldn't be the only ones speech accessable at FR.
Cuba walked out on President Bush.
The U.S. and Israel walked out on the Anti-Christ.

I hope he can resolutely act on it, even if there is not much time left for his term. If he ignores time-constraint and stay consistent, he can achieve a lot more than hurriedly signing an agreement with a lot of loopholes.
He can only become great under the bad circumstances when he transcends the time-pressure.

Any good conservative would know the enemy within is the left wing of the Democrat Party now wholely coopted by socialists/communists aligned with the whole propaganda apparatus of the news media, school teachers, university professors, Hollywood, etc.

They are inside Republican Party, too. Those who want to go along to get along.
They were also accomplices to Clinton regime. They gorged on irrational exuberance.

Here is the Bush UN speech. Now you can understand why I was so upset and had to turn the TV off.
He is quoting the UN declarations. He is giving away our childrens future to third world countries. He is making slaves out of Americans. Sickening.
Now for all of you who are going to jump me for criticizing this speech. This is what I want and I feel I should have immediately. I want to live on a fenced in ranch with guards so I won’t have to worry about any one breaking into my house. I think I deserve millions of dollars so I can have nannies and servants. I don’t want to work anymore. My groceries should be furnished, cooked and served at the appropriate temperature.
I could go on but you get the idea.

There’s no doubt there are equal numbers or more crooks in the Democrat party than the Republican party, but Democrats win hands down in the sheer irrational exuberance of traitors.

What was weak? The Speech itself or not including Mussaraf on the laundry list?

As I recall jumping the shark means you have blown your wad and can’t come up with any better act to follow a desperation act.
Bush has given so many historically great speeches, that there is little he can say now that wouldn’t be an anticlimax.
His credibility is due to media pounding him year after year, and the Iraq situation not yet clearly resolving in many minds.
But there is still a reservoir of good will toward the man, and if he can come up with an important win or two in his last year and a half, then it will wash away the Iraq war fatigue factor, and people will respond more positively to his job approval rating.
Never count out a good poker player who knows most of the cards out there.

Sorry patriciaruth, but I'm going to have to disagree.
As much as I would love to see Bush succeed, he is rapidly becoming a disaster.
Now keep in mind that this from my perspective here - I see the buildup of Hizb ut-Tahrir here and Islamic totalitarianism - I'm seeing a movement here that is growing and gaining momentum - bigger than anything prior to 9/11.
I see the proponents of this movement emboldened by Western fecklessness in dealing with Islamic extremism.
Bush's legacy will be the phrase "Islam is a religion of peace" - I see him being ridiculed for years to come.

Bush is too much of a globalist to be able to take the only position re the UN that makes sense for the USA:
