But you will never hear about that in a history book. Really? Then how do I or my husband know that information? He went to public school, I went to Catholic school. 5 years apart and in different states.

But you will never hear about that in a history book. Probably because most of it is nonsense. Habeas corpus can be suspended if circumstances require it. That's right there in Article I of the Constitution. No declaration of war was needed since one declares war on other sovereign nations, not rebellious parts of your own. And Lincoln never ordered an arrest warrant for Taney. Not a single Taney biographer has ever unconvered any evidence to support the claim.
