I admit it, I am a cheap one when it comes to foot attire.. but I hear ya on a good fitting pair of shoes and how many folks are enduring a bad fitting shoe or two. I always have a dickens of a time finding a nice fit for a dress shoe.

Reading along the thread, I realize that it wasn't meant to be funny and that you may have big feet. My brother has huge feet and has complained about the trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. Boots he can find but shoes are problematic.
Once there were cobblers to remedy this problem.

The Rockport “Dressports” line has sure been good to my feet. Light, durable, comfortable, stylish. I could walk for miles in these.

I don’t mind the cost so much, but it is at least an hour to go to a good shoe store. But a specialty running store really can’t be beat.
And I hear you on dress shoes.
