I would conclude that race is a factor in serial killing, based on these stats and the fact that there is not a corresponding list of Black or Asian serial killers. Culture? Genetics? Who knows. But it is too big a coincidence to ignore and claim that noticing it is foolish.

“A sociology professor recently debunked the myth that whites are over-represented, and blacks under-represented, as offenders in serial murders. He estimated that about 20% of serial killers have been black though they represent only 13% of the population. Though yes, most serial murders have been white(about 60 - 65%), they have actually constituted just below their actual numbers to their corresponding percentage of the US population, where as blacks have actually committed more than their share, but still less overall only because they’re such a small numerical demograhpic.
This is the same stastical trick that is used when reporting Hate Crime stastistics. They always compare white crime with that of blacks and only report the raw figures - always omitting the huge disparity in percentage of population of the two demographics.”
