A Framingham man gave police a fake name, feigned sickness to try avoid being fingerprinted Friday, and when that failed, he assaulted an officer, police said.
When Flavio DeSouza-Marinho's fingerprints were finally taken, police found the man had given a fake name and he was actually an illegal immigrant from Brazil. In addition, the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement had a warrant against him, police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany said.
Police first went to DeSouza-Marinho's 27 Bishop Drive apartment after a report of a fight between a woman and her boyfriend.
The woman told police, using her 14-year-old son as a translator, that her boyfriend, identified as Leone Rodriguez, had grabbed her arm and hurt her by squeezing it.
Rodriguez, who was really DeSouza-Marinho, admitted he squeezed her arm, but only to stop her from slapping him, Shastany said. He was arrested.
At the station, as police began to book DeSouza-Marinho, he saw the fingerprint machine and began to panic.
"The officer said he had a concerned look and started speaking quickly in Portuguese," said Shastany. "He suddenly fell to the ground, snorting, and his arms were flailing. He was arching his back and we has kicking wildly in an apparent desperate medical condition."

Nao o Taze mim irmao!
Of course?
He may be illegal, but I believe him, not her.

Ah, he saw that in the movies!
He pulled an Anthony Quinn act on the Wehrmacht in “The Guns of Navarone”! LOL
He needed a broomstick up you know what to straighten him out!
I'd hate to see how he reacts to the coffee machine or all-in-one printer.
