Congress debate begins on North America Union
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | September 25, 2007 | Jerome R. Corsi

A House resolution urging President Bush "not to go forward with the North American Union or the NAFTA Superhighway system" is – according to its sponsor Rep. Virgil Goode, R-Va., in an exclusive WND interview – "also a message to both the executive branch and the legislative branch."

As WND previously reported, on Jan. 22 Goode introduced H.C.R. 40, titled "Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada."

The bill has been referred to the House Subcommittee on Highways and Transit of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

WND asked Goode if the president was risking electoral success for the Republican Party in 2008 with his insistence on pushing for North American integration via the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP.

"Yes," Goode answered. "You won't hear the leadership in the Republic Party admit it, but there are many in the House and Senate who know that illegal immigration has to be stopped and legal immigration has to be reduced. We are giving away the country so a few very rich people can get richer."

How did he react when President Bush referred to those who suggest the SPP could turn into the North American Union as "conspiracy theorists"?

This is why I will no longer vote for social liberals in the GOP party.

Then don't vote for Guiliani.

I shake my head thinking why would our rino President destroy American workers interests in pursuit of his petty ambitions.

You answered you own question, at least in part. Bush is a Socialist who has always believed in a new world order. He just lied better than the others.

#####Wait a minute! How can Congress debate on something that doesn’t exist? I thought the North American Union was just a figment of our imagination as some would lead us to believe?#####

It’s the border between the U.S. & Mexico that’s a figment of our imagination. Border? What Border?

“Demonizing those of goodwill and different positions is a standard COMMUNIST LEFTIST TACTIC. And I will say point-blank...it’s LYING and its UNCHRISTIAN.”

Yeah and do you know what stinks? National leaders carry national consequences for all it’s citizens. I am a firm believer and could write a book of testimonies, stuff most people could never believe that Christ lives. I was an athiest at 28 and perhaps I am one of those once truly rotten to the core people Christ used as a positive example speaking to me direct. I know some of you will simply say I am looney but that’s OK. I will never be ashamed to have advanced knowledge that this universe and clusters of superuniverses have extremely precise order. That we are one of millions of advanced species and man is an indefinate creation. I think scientifically, not meta-physical-mumbo-jumbo that my religion is the only one with truth. To religions of this earth, God is in a box.

That being said you know what? This nation will be corrected on behalf of the faithful and we are still the majority (although the elites are taking their toll).

If you think correction of nations is a good thing, well it is in general. However, read the bible and history and look what happens to nations whom sell out their own citizens to build more palaces. These nations without exception fall and the calamity to all the citizens is great. Recovery of a civilization in such nations took centuries, perhaps with modern technology it will now only be decades. Those of us with faith will suffer through such a correction but will not receive the brunt of our enemies assault.

Keep in mind: The USA’s elites are trying to force the global society down the throats of our citizens and have overstepped their bounds forming unholy alliances with enemies, China is a great example. Sure, the elite’s get to make a bundle or get relected to power but the Marxist’s will indeed sell us the rope to hang ourselves.

Now, the elites feel they can set-up the global society Christ’s Himself promises for mankind. I know this is not a collaberation with Christ for the good of all mankind. I see the fruit of the actions by our corrupt elite in Washington. This fruit is deceipt, theft, betrayal, confusion, cowardness, self-centeredness. In fact, it is anti-Christ meaning the exact opposite of Christ’s principles of love, justice, prosperity, freedom, selflessness, willing to die for one another.

This doesn’t mean we are the anti-Christ itself, it means we are playing with the devil and we will get burned by the devil. Example, 911. Was it God that allowed this to happen? No, We the People elected Clinton and Clinton began the sellout of We the People. Now our enemy is the Taliban/Al Queda whom China supports and Clinton propped up. 911 did not have to happen, Clinton was focused on BJ’s and dollahs. The party never stops, yeah! Might have been nice to actually have done something about Bin Laden after the first Trade Tower attack in 1994. Now we have Bush pushing his families dream of a global utopia under the USA. Well, our enemies don’t share this viewpoint and dollars from a NAFTA doesn’t sway the die hard Islamic fundamentalist. The global society is decades away, we are in the clash of civilization era because we can all communicate with each other globally.

If you study Christianity in it’s true form rather then what a Bishop of Pastor tells you, you will find the promotion of freedom and decency. Those of us with will and talent received freely and give freely to the poor, the needy, the homeless, the widow and fatherless boy. Individuals and collective people forming nations with this attitude prosper and thrive as a society. It is not lightning bolts that a God throws down on sinful societies. It is the sell-out leadership and people who vote such in that cause gaping holes in our security apparatus, because they are focused on themselves and NOT PAYING ATTENTION. Remember united we stand, divided we fall?

“I will say point-blank that if he hadn’t been pushing his anti-conservative and Globalist Agenda non-stop since ‘04...he would still have been over 50% approval. And he only has himself to blame. He has done it to himself...”

Agreed, I and I would daresay many others would have viewed him as one of the finest President’s in history. The rumor is he has lime disease. Anyone else hear that or know information? It was like until 2004 he was the best damn President ever and now will be remembered as one of the worst...

Right and the Minutemen assisting Border Patrol reporting illegal invaders were called ‘Vigalantes’. I guess some of the elites forgot that this government is a possession of We the People, not the other way around.

“I agree. All we’re really talking about is making delivery of goods more efficient. It also occurs to me that having goods funnelled to a central interior location might make it easier to control security. Of course the route would have to be secure as well.”

I disagree. Our government refuses accountability in letting Mexicans come in en masse now we see drunk illegal mexicans killing civilians, drastically increased drug trade, Southern California turning into a toilet, murders and burglaries commited by illegal aliens already arrested on felonies and let go, sanctuary cities where stubborn Mayors refusing to even report illegal alien crimes to the feds and getting a burger my way at MacDonald’s an impossibility :)

Now, do you really think we will police this trade route securely or are we going to see more loose restrictions of our national security so the 1/4% of the richest and most powerful can get richer? It’s all more efficient of course. Think man.

May want to research Kansas City SmartPort. May have to be considered soverign soil of Mexico. Reportedly mandated by Mexican government in ordr for them to participate and was done with the knowledge of U.S. State Dept. KC Southern Railway has bought up right-of-ways and railtracks from Mexico north. KC is hub of I-35 north/south and I-70 east/west. San Antonio would be hub for I-35 north/south and I-10 east/west. As an aside, new mayor of KC under fire from LULAC and like organizations for appointing someone to head parks board who has a membership in Minuteman. They threatening to cancel their convention in KC.

Of course, she answered, 'There's no NAFTA Superhighway.'

A-ha... I have a "gut feeling" it's double-speak again. Just like when they assured us it's "not an amnesty."

"The president is really engaging in a play on words,"

"play on words" = ANOTHER BIG LIE FROM THIS INSANE PRESIDENT.

This treasonous plan could decimate the middle class jobs in America. Truck drivers, dock workers, warehousemen, the list goes on. These workers will not be able to support their families or pay their bills, yet the rich will get richer as we watch our country go down the drain, as it has since Bush entered the White House.

We had to fight to prevent amnesty, now we have to fight again to prevent amnesty lite, and now we need to REALLY fight to prevent this massacre upon America.

George W. Bush has been the most anti-American president in history.

...the list goes on.

Agreed. The small businesses, the still-domestic manufacturers of small scale, who have been the fount of most American growth and innovativeness... will be obliterated, as this "infrastructure" (which the U.S. taxpayer gets to pay for) further enables China to attack their product niches.

Those small businesses...too small to consider moving to China...and enforce their intellectual property here too...will have hordes of "consultants" encouraging them to just give in. China...and the U.S. government (via OPIC and other programs)... will subsidize the transfer their manufacturing to China.

The fact that Lockheed Martin, a U.S. premier DEFENSE manufacturer got involved in this, tells you that it is most likely not a case of it being THEIR IDEA.

Far, far more likely, since the U.S. Government is far and away their biggest customer, with say, 90% of all their business...when the President, on pain of cutting off all their F-22 orders, asks for a little "favor" to help get this NASCO set up to help with his little NAU scheme.... they say, "anything for you, Mr. President..."

He says, Jump, and they say "How High?"

Think about it. Why ELSE would they get so involved in this monstrosity?

Notice who didn't... Boeing, GM, Ford, Chrysler, (The Big Three are on the "outs" with the Administration...this could be part of the reason why, not just healthcare or tariffs...) or any of the "real" U.S. railroads. Like Burlington. This list is comprised of mainly nobodies...which suggests that they are those most-easily influenced by corrupt encouragement. Lockheed was the one stand-out...and the most suspicious in view of its lack of any real interests in importing...
