DHS is cracking down. The plan is to crack down so much that Congress tells them to back off.
They are also minimizing Homeland Security grants to cities with sanctuary policies.
Exactly, this administration and DHS have done everything to minimize enforcement, and their clumsy attempts to appear otherwise are only designed to fan the flames.

That’s what I thought at first, but I’m not so sure now. Maybe they really did a 180-degree turn and are reacting to what is really a rebellion against federal law. They really should sue the “sanctuary cities” too.
