“parallel universe”
A phrase used by people who do not know the definition of “parallel” or the defintion of “universe”.
Good point which even the writer should have thought of since he described a branching structure; parallel lines dont branch [relative to one another anyway] and if they do branch they arent parallel...why I would prefer the terms alternate or divergent universes.
