The First World Left is very different from the Third World Left. The First World Left are hippies; the Third World Left are WWII-era Fascist Japan. First World Leftists will attack the United States as a totalitarian dictatorship while defending Castro, Mao, and Chavez because of their "positive achievements." First World Leftists will demand equal rights for women in the First World while defending the right of Third World Leftists to live according to pre-enlightenment, non-Eurocentric moral standards. First World Leftists have for decades excused the "homophobia" (a word I reject) of Castro and the PLO. Why Robert Mugabe is singled out for criticism by them I have no idea.
