This is very ominous. Since Iran is also involved, Bush’s “axis of evil” remark was more accurate than it was given credit for.

Here’s another Israeli triumph of survival.

Hopefully they also seized some of the Iranian or NK personnel as well.

I’ve not read this in any US press.. Did I miss it? Or, more realistically, are they sitting on it as it doesn’t fit their agenda?

ISRAELI commandos from the elite Sayeret Matkal unit – almost certainly dressed in Syrian uniforms – made their way stealthily towards a secret military compound near Dayr az-Zawr in northern Syria.

The nerve of them to do such a thing!

Nancy Pelosi and Dennis Kusinich were open minded enough to let everyone know of their visit to Syria.

When will the IAF learn. /s

“America approved an attack”

LOL

Since when has the IAF asked permission from anyone outside of command channels for ‘permission’?

Oh well the F15 I (seen in the USAF as the Strike Eagle) seems to have done the job, not bad for an Air Superiority fighter.....

Hidden in the article is this little tidbit that must be picked up and repeated frequently:

"Critics of Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, believe he has shown poor judgment since succeeding his father Hafez, Syria’s long-time dictator, in 2000. According to David Schenker, of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, he has provoked the enmity of almost all Syria’s neighbours and turned his country into a “client” of Iran.'

Daddy's boy isn't so smart.

Did Syria want to arm its own Scuds with a nuclear device?

Well just duh! Is there really anyone who is surprised by this? Anyone? (sound of crickets chirping, tumbleweed blows down the street)

Let me weigh in: two-syllable word; nitrogenous waste product, excreted by a bovine of male gender.Exclamation point.

1. If you planned to REMOVE nuclear materials, why would you follow up by bombing ?
2. Removing nuclear materials would be a considerable undertaking-even with the full cooperation and assistance of the Syrian government.
3. More likely conclusion: the bombing was conducted to destroy conventional war materiel being readied for shipment to Hezbollah, for use in Lebanon.

~snip~

The attack on what Israeli defence sources now call the “North Korean project” appears to be part of a wider, secret war against the nonconventional weapons ambitions of Syria and North Korea

Let’s pray this is true

"But Washington was not satisfied. It demanded clear evidence of nuclear-related activities before giving the operation its blessing. The task of the commandos was to provide it."

So.....our weenies are demanding Israel prove Syra desires them dead and is busily acquiring the materials to do just that!!!

What BS coming from these cowards inside our Defense, State AND Itelligence Depts!

One of the weaknesses of the military dictatorship. Everyone is terrified of people in military uniforms walking around.

Because authority is determined by personal agendas rather than a reliable chain of command, even other military can be intimidated by people dressed in uniforms giving the "don't you know who we are" vibe.

Did the US first ask Pelosi’s and Reid’s and Kucinich’s and Rockefeller’s permission before passing it on to the Israelis? Bwahahahaha, democraps haven’t got a darn clue what a dangerous place the Middle East is! God have mercy upon US if we allow these bastards to hold all three branches of the government.
