Sure this will have a political slant to it.

One interviewee just said our men joined the service not out of patriotism but because they were bored and needed excitement.

Liberalism(sp) is a mental disorder.

And he mentioned he was a kid too. Kids usually aren’t very wise. Chill out.

Having grown up in a small flyover-country town...I can relate to that.

And it’s also from some cultural ethos.
Such as the one for my father’s early-childhood friends.
As Native Americans (mostly Tonkawas), nearly all the young males
did a hitch in the US Military.
(for honor and/or for future advantage).

My heart sank when I heard them say that ! So this show is just going to be outright revisionist history, it seems. How disappointing. One thing they forgot though, that a lot of people are still alive whose parents fought in WW2, or lived through it at home. And we know better.

My Dad volunteered immediately after Pearl HArbor, to defend his country, not for excitment. He already lived in Hollywood, for Christ's sake. And my father in law, too. He lived in NYC.

This was outright lie # 2, the first being that the NAzis were against the German socialists, and the Jews. The Nazis were socialists.

I don't think I can watch any more.I'm sick at heart.
