In fact, Bob, if more people knew what was being said in their local mosques, there definitely would be a whole lot less tolerance of Muslims in the US.
The fact of the matter is quite plain. Many "sensible," "moderate" Muslims, or those who appear to be so, support very immoderate action through their mosques, particularly in the area of donations to causes of which I do most emphatically not approve.
A mosque serves many more functions than as a place of prayer. Love to discuss this further with you. Meet me at the First Congregationalist Church of Riyadh after services.
