I saw this happen to a guy in the airport at Monroe, La. The person rifling through the guy's suitcase told him that the computer will tell a ticket or gate agent that a passenger is to be searched further, based on criteria such as buying a ticket at the last minute or paying cash or having a one-way ticket, or the luggage you are carrying. This initial screening was near the ticket counter. Then, sure enough, he was screened more than everyone else at the gate also.
I don't know that anything the agent said was true or false, I am simply telling you what I saw and heard myself.
Ugh what a terrible picture...An outrage, a total offense against God and the Catholic religion.

You’d be surprised at how quiet an airport gets after the mad rush of passengers. Where I work, there’s about a two hour gap of down time before the next rush.

What would the coverage be had a poll shown that 25% of Christians or Jews believed that terrorism was acceptable in the defense of their religion?
Muslims are not standing up in any numbers sufficient enough to remove the pall of suspicion that is draped over them.

I don’t doubt it but how about now? We got a couple million boys and girls in uniform that some here don’t have a problem with casually throwing up against potentially 1.2 billion muslims.
For me, I’m a little more careful about who and when I recommend we throw our soldiers at. I also understand we can’t fight 1.2 billion people and that not all of them, the vast majority in fact, are interested in us or doing us harm. There is a minority % of crazy nut cases whom we need to pay attention to and go after. Anyone that says we are at war with all of islam is just plain ignorant...and dangerous.
Normally I would ignore hypotheticals that can be carefully constructed to illicit any response desired and stick with the facts, but in this case I’ll humor you.
As I said previously, it depends on the definition of “defense of their religion”. My guess is if you polled Catholics and asked them if suicide bombers were acceptable if it averted a bunch of nut cases from blowing up the Vatican, I bet at least 25% would say yes. If you polled Jews and asked them if suicide bombings were acceptable if it averted a nuclear strike on Jerusalem or the Ark of the Covenant, I bet at least 25% would also say yes.
We don’t know what was in the minds of the muslims they polled when that question was asked, so any further analysis of it is guesswork. If their definition was drawing pics of Mo, then that would be alarming. If it was protecting Mecca or the Dome of the Rock from destruction, those opinions might be in line with what other deeply religious people feel about their holy places.
AFAIK, the KKK hasn't been out killing people during my adult lifetime. I really don't have a problem with people's offensive speech.
It’s funny how the extreme wing here try to mitigate their bigoted comments by calling them “not politically correct”. NPC is questioning the causes of global warming, not stereotyping and using deragatory terms for vast classes of people. What you do is bigotry, plain and simple.

My guess is it would lead every network newscast for a week or better, be lead on every news magazine show, be subject to a Congressional investigation, result in 3 inch headlines in all major lib papers,remain front page news for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Meanwhile there have been threats against our children from Al Qaeda, who say they will kill 2 MILLION of them. I have never seen this in the news at all, have you?
The ones in this nation DO NOT stand up and loudly condemn these pigs and because of that they are no better then the murderers are.
