Father God, please prepare the way for Sandra, keep her from pain Lord. Father, I ask for Your embrace of Sandra’s husband during his grieving time.

Be with him in his loneliness and sorrow. Surround him with believers for his comfort. I ask these things in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Dear Lord, please comfort Sandra as she crosses over that bridge. Comfort her family as she goes into a place that can't be seen.

I am reminded of a thought by a FReeper which was actually written about pets, but which applies equally to our human friends and family: (I am paraphrasing)

Stay beside me during difficult journeys; don't say that you don't want to be there or you'll let someone else handle it...remember that I love you.

We should go from holding a familiar hand on one side, to holding a familiar hand on the other side.
