I’ve always wondered why these people don’t just hire someone to drive them around when they’re out getting screwed up.
When I was a teenager I spent my weekends driving an old drunk around on his bar hopping route. He paid for my meals and I had the use of his car while he sat and drank. He would tell me to come back at 4 oclock or something and off we’d go to his next bar stop.

$1500 per day? I see a career move for PaMom. I have two out of college; one who just started; and two more to go after that. Yep...sober buddy. Who better than a mom of five? Hmmmm....

Maybe this is not such a bad thing. It seems to me the family and friends of the rich and famous do not care enough about them to keep them on track I think hiring a personal nanny may be the sanest thing these people have ever done.

Same here. I don’t drink and I don’t have a problem being around it. Sounds like an ideal career choice.

I agree PAMom. As a mom, I think I’d be perfect for the job of being a professional nag. I do it now for free!!

Having raised three teens so far (two boys—both athletes...you know with teammates...) I have been there, done that, seen it, stopped it, etc. Sober buddy...for hire...I could do this.

his prices range from $450 to $1,500 a day for careIf this is plus expenses, I want to apply. Seriously. I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since my college days and probably could not take up drinking at this point even if I wanted to do so.

I would like to make 90,000 dollars in 90 days being a thousand dollar a day sober buddy. Sure beats what I made working for the state on a substance abuse unit.

(Doink) PaMom hits forhead ala V8 commercials...
Expense account... didn't even think of an expense account. Oh yeah...I am thinking private college for child number 4 :)

The hard part would be tolerating an obnoxious drunken liberal.

LOL. Sounds like John Rawlings’ job for Grant in the WBTS.

MomzRUs, Inc. Brilliant. Our slogan: “I SAID NO!!”
To: socal_parrot
Wouldn’t a cab be cheaper?
To: cripplecreek
No...if you do it right...your buddy is never drunk. Then you (the sober one) raise your rates (because of your success rate) for the next client. Seriously...this could work. I nag and harass gratis now...as a professional I would excel!

The hard part would be tolerating an obnoxious drunken liberal. I think that would be tolerating an obnoxious sober liberal. The obnoxious drunken liberal is my current employer, though I don't have to spend 24/7 with her.
