The Rocky Mountain Collegian published the editorial on its Sept. 21 opinion page, saying "Taser this .. (expletive) BUSH."Er, they do realize the Ron Paul supporter was tazed at a JOHN KERRY event, right? Bush was nowhere near that campus.

The eloquence, the profundity, the erudition in this editorial ....aw, never mind. I can’t be mean to someone whose brain’s been eaten away by Bush Derangement Syndrome. Pity is much more in order here...

Bush was nowhere near that campus. Doesn't matter. If a man farts in China, it's Bush's fault.

It is Illegal to threaten the President and I am sworn to protect him and the Constitution. What’s his address?

Why is it that it always seems the school newspaper is under the control of radical liberals?
To: Baladas
The Rocky Mountain Collegian published the editorial on its Sept. 21 opinion page, saying "Taser this .. (expletive) BUSH." Bush wasn't even in the same state, it was John F'n Kerry that stood there doing nothing while his supporter was tasered.
Although it does make sense in a way: If this happened in Viet Nam during the Kennedy or Johnson administration Kerry would have taken to the floor of the Senate and blamed President Nixon.

Left-wing college students think Bush is worse than Hitler. I guarantee you that most of them think Bush was somehow behind the tasering incident.

CSU says, “It’s free speech, we can’t do anything!”
If the newspaper headline was, “F*** Homosexuals,”
CSU would have expelled the students, had them arrested for hate crimes, destroyed all the newspapers, etc.

This is what masquerades for intellectualism at todays colleges. Whiny, impish liberals throwing little temper tantrums and using foul language.
Real intelligent and mature, guys.

University officials released a statement explaining their concern for response to the editorial, and that it has no control over its student media. While we understand (the editorial) is upsetting and offensive to many people, CSU is prohibited by law from censoring or regulating the content of its student media publications, CSU said in a written statement.
They can certianly remove any CSU funding.

The newspapers editor-in-chief wrote a letter to readers to explain that our intentions were not malicious.
What are the odds that after a couple days of national attention it will have all been a poorly told "joke"?

So that is why when I drove by the campus there were many students holding a sign that stated:
Shame on you CSU.
Were they saying that because they allowed that to be printed and didn’t do anything about it?
Or were they saying that because CSU decided to investigate?
